152/71 Loader-Trailer

The Kesla 152/71 loader-trailer combination is ideal for small woodlots or short distance transportation of small diameter trees, like first thinning and firewood collection. The cranes in the Kesla 200 series, together with the compatible 8t trailer models, are market leaders in their size category. They are perfectly suited to agriforestry timber harvesting as well as loading and transportation around the farm.

200 Series - Agriforestry Series

The Patu 200 series loaders and 8T trailers are highly suitable for timber harvesting at farms and for other loading and transport in farming.
Patu 202T equipped with a hydraulic extension is an ideal tool for the loading of pulp wood and long-length wood. On the other hand, the 202 model with no extension has a better lifting capacity. The telescopic stabilizers in both models are durable, since their cylinders are protected inside the stabilizer legs. The loader has an oil-lubricated slewing mechanism, which is very strong for this size category.

203 and 203T
Patu 203T belongs to the most popular size category in the Agriforestry Series. The loader features excellent technical properties, and modern 2-lever control ensures that work is easy and efficient. All Patu 200 series loaders have a unique spacesaving transport position.

300 SERIES - CONTRACTOR SERIES

The most recent loaders in the Patu range together with 10 and 12 tonne trailers have been designed for professional timber harvesting. Good lifting capacity, outreach and slewing torque combined with optimum movements provide increased speed and reliability.

304 and 304T
The short lifting boom makes the 304 easy to manoeuvre. The oil-lubricated four-cylinder slewing mechanism and excellent lifting capacity render it a superior loader. Together with the model 304T, it is a good general purpose loader for heavy forestry and farming applications. Thanks to the wide-angle joint used in both models, the properties for loading in the immediate vicinity of the trailer are also excellent.

Patu 305T is the largest loader in the Patu range. Loads at a distance of more than 8 metres can be handled without moving the trailer by tilising
the speed, strength and accuracy of the loader. A lifting capacity of more than 1,000 kg (4 m) guarantees endless Patu strength around the clock.
The loaders in the 300 series are mounted directly on Patu 10-tonne or 12-tonne trailers with a mounting column or hydraulic stabilizers, which
are available as accessories.

Kesla is the World’s leading manufacturer of stroke de-limbers. The stroke heads are perfect for de-limbing trees with robust branches (e.g. hardwood).
The heads particularly suit track-based machines, and the hydraulic requirements are low. The stroke processor lends itself to being used in combination with a tractor and it is an appropriate piece of mountable equipment for de-limbing and cutting trees of smaller diameter.

The Kesla harvesters form a comprehensive range of single grip harvester heads, from 7 tonne wheeled vehicles to 25 tonne tracked vehicles. In designing the collection, usability has been the primary focus: the best materials and components have been chosen. Ease of maintenance and productivity in all circumstances have been given priority.

Kesla also supplies tracked harvesters. We offer our customers installation services, forestry equipment, measuring instruments, the Xtender boom extension and a harvester head appropriate to the customer’s excavator.

Kesla harvesters are compatible with Ponsse OPTI and Timbermatic 300/3000 measuring devices

The Kesla 18RH and 18RHS are genuine powerhouses when it come to thinning. The feeding and sawing forces are exceptionally high compared to the head’s weight. 18RH and 18RHS are at their best in thinning where the trees’ average diameter is less than 25 cm. The head’s maximum opening is 40 cm. The head’s compact construction also enables it to process crooked stems effectively. Additional accessories include the HydCon measuring roller, color marking device, automatic chain tightener and stump treatment device. The Kesla 18RH and 18RHS are best suited to 7-10 ton wheeled harvesters.

The Kesla 20RH and 20RHS are fast and agile heads for thinning and final fellings where the trees’ average diameter is less than 30 cm. The head’s maximum opening is 45 cm. Considering their size class, these lightweight yet sturdily constructed harvesters provide exceptionally powerful feeding and sawing forces. Thanks to the 4 delimbing knives, the picking properties and delimbing quality are excellent. Additional accessories include the ProCon and HydCon features as well as color marking device, automatic chain tightener and stump treatment device. The Kesla 20RH and 20RHS suit 8-13 ton wheeled harvesters.

The Kesla 25RH and 25RHS are truly versatile harvester heads for thinning and final fellings where the trees’ average diameters are less than 40 cm. The head’s maximum opening is 58 cm. The excellent balance, combined with the geometry of the rollers and knives, facilitates and speeds up the picking of trees either standing or laying on the ground, either vertically or from bundles lying on the ground. The head is also well suited to the processing on landing. Additional accessories include the ProCon, HydCon and EucaPRO features as well as color marking device, automatic chain tightener as well as stump treatment device. Kesla 25RH and 25RHS are best suited to 12-20 ton base machines. The 25RHS has been designed especially for use with excavators.

The Kesla 30RH and 30RHS roller heads are sturdily constructed for heavy-duty final fellings where the trees’ average diameter can be as large as 50 cm. The head’s maximum opening is 68 cm. The efficient, fully synchronized 3-roller drive provides plenty of power for the processing of even the most robustly branched trees. The head is also well suited for the processing of trees lying on the ground or in piles. Additional accessories include the ProCon, HydCon and EucaPRO features as well as color marking device, automatic chain tightener and stump treatment device. The Kesla 30RH and 30RHS are best suited to 18-25 ton track-based machines or heavy duty wheeled harvesters. The 30RHS has been designed especially for excavator use
